How accessible are managers and do they make good mentors? You may want to address internal communication, performance feedback or praise and recognition.
Large company, so I don't have a massive amount of interaction with upper management.

Managers are very accessible as our office is completely open plan. They make good mentors and are always looking out for the best in me.
Graduate, New Plymouth
Yes, I have communication with all levels of management in the office.
Graduate, Auckland
They are good but can always do better. Performance feedback is always good at our personal development reviews bi-annually
Graduate, Christchurch
Mid-level management is great, though interaction can be limited Upper management is not in contact and seems to have their own agendas
Graduate, New Plymouth
Managers are accessible as long as you are confident enough to speak directly to them which they appreciate. All graduates get mentors you work with and can talk to about anything. As it is such a big business, sometimes internal communication can be hit and miss but mostly it's very good.

My manager sits right next to me and is really approachable. I have a great mentor within the company, every grad is assigned one on starting work here. We are given feedback on our performance every 6 months so you know exactly where you're at. I am involved in 2 groups with our location CEO so I know her quite well and she is a great mentor to me.
