Your role

The tooling operations intern will support the tooling operations organization. This role will assist with the processes of Order Creation, Tool Planning, and Production Planning & Control of tools that are fabricated in the internal facility or at an outside supplier. Frequent communication and collaboration will be necessary with multiple internal functions. You will be asked to help in the development or maturing of the processes to make the tooling department more efficient.

About you

Basic Qualifications:

  • Enrolled in a degree program in Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Business (with a concentration in operations or supply chain), or related degree.
  • An interest in at least one of the following: Manufacturing, tooling, industrial engineering, process improvement, lean Six Sigma
  • Must be a US Citizen;

Desired skills:

  • Experience with manufacturing
  • Familiar with SAP
  • Experience in data analysis
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
