John Holland is currently accepting expressions of interest for our 2022 Internship Program. Being an Intern at John Holland is a great opportunity to kick start your career and apply what you’ve learned at university to the real working environment. It’s an exciting opportunity to gain insight into what it is like working for John Holland and start developing your technical and soft skills. 

We are looking for university students majoring in the below disciplines:

Rail:

• Civil Engineering
• Electrical Engineering
• Mechanical Engineering
• Mechatronics Engineering
• HSEQ

Infrastructure:

• Civil Engineering

Building:

• Construction Management
• Quantity Surveying

Corporate Support:

• People
• HSE
• Commercial
• Human Resources
• IT
• Technology Engineering Knowledge (TEK)

Our Internship Program

We offer our interns a structured program, which includes:

• 12 weeks of practical work experience
• Ongoing support by a manager and mentor
• Formal learning and development programs
• Networking opportunities across a diverse project-based business
• Support for you to shape your career. It is what you make of it so, Make It Yours!

To be eligible for this role you will be:

• Available to commence late November 2022
• Majoring in the appropriate discipline as listed above
• Australian / New Zealand Citizen or Permanent Resident
