My company is very flexible with hours - I work a 9 day fortnight

They are very flexible around hours including start times, finish times, and lunch break times / lengths. As long as you do your 7.6 hours a day (and don't miss important meetings) you are free to work at the times that suit you.

My company is very flexible with my working. I do usually work at le3ast some overtime and there are periods throughout the year where this can become quite intense to meet project deliverables and milestones.
Graduate, Brisbane
Very flexible on work hours and being about to work from home and in the office.

As long as you complete a 38hr week, they don't mind as to how your hours are broken up. You can also do 40hrs a week to get one day off a month. There are flexible starts and finishes.

Work 40 scheduled hours, though short deadlines often induce crunches which have led to weeks of up to 65 hours. Overtime is unpaid and unrewarded

2 days in the office, the other 3 at home. That's just my team and it differs.

As a new starter, ideally do normal work pattern. However as you get used to the job, can ask for a different work pattern (1 day off a month, 9 day fortnight, etc). No need to work the day's hours in one go (eg. work a bit in the morning, take a couple hours off, work again in the afternoon, take hours off, work in the evening). Flexible work, just make sure you communicate this with your team. Working from home is normal (must come into the office minimum once a week). Rarely work overtime.
Graduate, Newcastle
very flexible start and end times and no expected overtime involved.

I usually work around 8 hours a day, but this is dependent on how much work I actually need to achieve. The company is pretty flexible with what hours you want to work and is pretty happy to give time in lieu when you put in extra hours. You also typically get a rostered day off once a month.

Very flexible

They can be flexible but it is apparent now working from home that you need to be available via skype in regular business hours.

Very flexible however, can be overworked when resourcing is an issue

Workplace culture does not expect overtime, management is very conscious of people's workload. Flexible working arrangements are supported e.g. flexible start/end times, routine days off, 9-day fortnight etc.

Have worked on projects punching out hours. Have worked on projects where once your hours are done, there is no need to stay back. Company is very flexible with the hours I choose. If I need to head out in the middle of the day to go do something. There is no worries.
