Office & Workplace at BHP

8.2
8.2 rating for Workplace, based on 49 reviews
Please comment on your company's office space, location and facilities. And while we're at it, please tell us a little about the dress code.
Major city offices phenomenal. Regional and remote offices largely lacking. Minimal facilities in regional and remote places. Bare minimum of toaster/fridge/microwave most often, regular milk and sugar and instant coffee provided but nothing else. In contrast Brisbane offers many more kitchen supplies, appliances and coffee machines and free fruit.

AMAZING! Stellar views, spacious desks and a plethora of amenities

Depending where you are located depends on the quality of offices. on the mine sites I think the offices are old, dirty and run down but its hard to keep them clean due to the dust. however the kitchen area is dirty in offices and the amenities aren't great. The Perth office is considered Ivory tower and has everything you need besides free food and drinks. Dress code is very relaxed people wear polos and jeans most times and there is casual Friday on too.

It is so good with all facilities.

The BHP Perth office is very beautiful, clean. I notice the cleaners are frequently cleaning, and they are very friendly too. The office is very close to the parking bay, so convenient for me as I drive in whenever I come into the office. Dress code appears professional for both men and women.

Nice and formal and not forced to wear uniform

For city location, the office is spacious and clean with good amenities and a coffee machine that makes yummy hot chocolates, dress code varies depending on team/meetings, generally business/smart casual with causal dress on Fridays. For site locations, offices tend to be rather dirty from dust but get cleaned daily due to being in a dusty environment, dress code on site is always high vis PPE.

Really nice office facilities in the city. On site offices are basic.

Perth office is a little more bling but the site offices are fine. They have all the equipment we need.

The office in the city is amazing. The site offices are older and basic
Graduate, Moranbah
Great location, empty though! dress code is fine, standing desks and dual screens are great.
Graduate, Brisbane
City office spaces are exceptional. Mine site offices are very minimal and not always fit for purpose. There is no dress code in the city offices, however PPE is required for site.

transportable buildings so sound travels but good airconditioning
Graduate, Olympic Dam
Being site based, the offices are pretty standard, though they meet all expectations. Dress code is PPE.

Professional and well equipped.

Very well designed. There are plants on each floor and designated people come maintain them.

Offices and facilities on site are garbage. In particular the toilet facilities and leaking roofs of ausco huts.
Graduate, Olympic Dam
Very clean and hot desking creates a sense of equality. The dress code is smart casual
