5.9 rating for Training, based on 14 reviews
Please describe the training programmes at your company and tell us what skills you've picked up.
We had a one week induction to learn about the company values and what we do to help the community which was interesting to learn. There are also many site visits to see how we manage our parcels. Most of the training specific to my role was on the job training, where I was taught skills by an ex-grad as well as completing online courses

There is little to no formal training programs offered by the company. In my area specifically, 95% of the training occurs on-the-job.

Access to LinkedIn Learning has been great to fill in the lulls in my workload and learn new skills that I want to learn. The Delight program was really useful for my communications with people and word choice

Employees have access to LinkedIn Learning & a plethora of other resources. Personally I have grown my 'soft' skills through being provided the opportunity to lead projects and make recommendations to senior leaders.

There have not been many formal training opportunities - it has been left up to us as grads much of the time to take our learning into our own hands which has proven to be quite difficult when working from home and not being able to learn through watching other team members. Some teams are better at providing the informal support than others.

I have received some training from certain teams which I found to be very interesting there was also some training that was given to me that was informal such as videos on YouTube. It can be hard to do them at times but overall I do think they help.

There has been little to no formalized training through the graduate program which was extremely disappointing. Have found individual teams willing to provide training and certain seniors willing to provide on-the-job training and development.

The company offers self-driven training tools, such as LinkedIn Learning and graduates are empowered to organise training sessions for the graduate cohort with team members to develop specific skills such as PowerPoint or Excel skills. However, there is room to create more structured training in the organisation to ensure that graduates are exposed to more consistent training modules.
